ORIGINAL: A statewide alert has been issued for a missing 15-year-old Volusia County girl.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the alert for Clarissa Norvitz, who was last seen Thursday night along Dixon Lake Road in Osteen.
Authorities said Norvitz is known to frequent the Osteen bike path and the surrounding woods.
Norvitz was described as a white girl, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has red hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts and blue Crocs.
The FDLE said Norvitz may be traveling south on State Road 415.
Anyone who knows her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
