While looking for the entrance to the restaurant, he “suddenly and unexpectedly slipped and fell due to an excessive amount of mold emanating from a downspout on the premises,” the lawsuit reads.
As a result, the child was injured, court records show. However, the lawsuit doesn’t specify the exact nature of those injuries.

Due to the fall, the lawsuit accuses the restaurant of negligence, claiming that the business failed to put up warning signs or properly maintain the premises.
“(The child) suffered bodily injury, mental and/or psychological disorders, and resulting pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment,” the lawsuit says.
As such, the lawsuit seeks over $50,000 in damages.
