Seminole County man wins $1M in Florida Lottery scratch-off game

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A Seminole County man scratched his way to a $1 million jackpot, according to the Florida Lottery.

Lottery officials said that Antonio Redden, 56, of Sanford claimed the $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR scratch-off game at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.

According to a news release, Redden chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

The winning ticket was purchased from Kevin’s Corner Store located at 2001 South French Avenue in Sanford, officials said. In addition, the retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The $50 Scratch-Off game launched in February and features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million
