POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A wanted man out of Polk County was taken into custody on Tuesday following a fatal shooting out of Poinciana last week, according to the sheriff’s office.
Kwavaughn Armani Buckley, 23, was arrested, accused in the deadly Jan. 25 shooting.

According to a news release, 36-year old Jeremiah Aguirre of Poinciana was found dead in his home on Lauderdale Court.
Deputies said based on evidence collected and interviews, Buckley went into the Poinciana home and shot Aguirre twice. Investigators said Buckley killed Aguirre because of “jealousy over a woman.”

Investigators said Buckley was arrested at his home by the Winter Park Police Department.
“I want to acknowledge not only the great work by our Homicide detectives, but also the Winter Park Police Department in capturing our murder suspect. They also recovered a firearm that we are working to confirm as the possible murder weapon. With this arrest, a very dangerous man is now locked up,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
According to the release, Buckley is facing charges of felony first degree murder and armed burglary with assault/battery.
