DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train Tuesday morning in Daytona Beach, according to police.
The Daytona Beach Police Department said the incident happened around 10 a.m. at Mason Avenue and the FEC railroad tracks.

Police said the train was stopped on the tracks blocking traffic from Mason Avenue to International Speedway Boulevard until around 12:40 p.m.
The train has since been moved.
Police have not identified the victim or said why they were on the tracks.
