ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County firefighters responded to a burning building Thursday afternoon near Pine Hills.
Units were sent to 2332 N. Hiawassee Road regarding a 20,000-square-foot structure on fire, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.
Views from Sky 6 showed smoke and flames through the building’s roof. Crews performed a good knockdown of the fire, the department said on social media.
Though the building’s roof collapsed, no one was inside and no injuries were reported, firefighters said, adding the building was abandoned.

An estimated 80% of the structure was damaged in the fire, with the rest damaged by smoke, firefighters said. The department’s posts added drivers should be careful should they need to pass by the scene.
