From the outside, the Carnival Vista now sports Carnival’s signature red, white and blue livery on her hull, the same one seen on the massive Carnival Mardi Gras cruise ship. The ship’s interior, including the thousands of rooms, also got a refresh. One of the most significant new features is the addition of a Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, which is an expanding venue across the Carnival fleet and honors military veterans and active-duty service members, the company explained.

The casino has also been expanded with a new layout and a separate non-smoking area. For eager shoppers, the ship now sports an all-new Effy Jewelry store and a new Cherry on Top candy shop. And for younger passengers, the cruise ship has a new Club O2 for teens was created in a new location.

The Carnival Vista will resume year-round sailing from Port Canaveral, offering mostly six- and eight-day itineraries that feature popular destinations, including Half Moon Cay, Bahamas; Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos; Aruba and more.

The vessel is part of Carnival’s four-ship deployment at Port Canaveral, which is also home to the Carnival Freedom, Carnival Liberty and Mardi Gras.
