POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A man who had been featured on “America’s Most Wanted” was arrested Sunday night in Polk County, according to the sheriff.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for David Albarran, 51, for two counts of sexual battery on a child under 12 back in December 2022.

Osceola County deputies had been searching for Albarran since December 2022, following allegations of sexual misconduct on a child, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
Judd said they received a tip that Albarran was in Lakeland and when deputies located him, he tried to hide his identity by providing a fake name.
“We snuck around Sunday night just before midnight in the backyard of Country Haven Drive. Well it might have been Country Haven Drive, but it was no haven for him,” Judd said in a video.
The sheriff said in addition to the charges in Osceola County, Albarran faces an outstanding warrant in Orange County for not paying child support.
He’s currently booked in the Polk County Jail.
