OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – People passing through Osceola County on Florida’s Turnpike may be among those who can see smoke from a prescribed burn on Wednesday, according to the county’s social media.

The burn was being performed at the Camp Lonesome Conservation Area off Canoe Creek Road, the post states.

Though the park was still open Wednesday, trails near the burn site would be closed, the county said.
