EDGEWATER, Fla. – The suspect in an Edgewater bank robbery is wanted by investigators, according to the police department on Monday.
In a release, police announced that the robbery happened at a Bank of America at 1900 S. Ridgewood Ave. around 1:20 p.m.

The suspected bank robber entered the bank, producing a note and firearm to the bank teller, the release shows.
He then left the bank on foot in an “unknown direction,” according to police.

The suspect is described as a “black male wearing a long-haired wig, blue jeans, white shirt with light-grey zip-up, carrying a black bag,” the release reads.
