Police seek info after man shot in Bunnell, airlifted with life-threatening injuries

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Police are asking the public for information after a man was shot Saturday night in Bunnell.

Bunnell officers and Flagler County deputies responded around 10:25 p.m. to the 500 block of South Drain Street regarding a 19-year-old man who had been shot, the police department said on social media. The man suffered life-threatening injuries, but the deputies and officers were able to render aid and secure the area until medical responders arrived, soon airlifting the man to a hospital, the posts state.

The man was in critical condition at last check, police said.

Investigators say a fight in the 500 block of South Anderson Street may have led to shots being fired as several people ran off in cars and on foot, but it’s still undetermined whether the gunshot victim was involved in the fight or an intended target of the shooting, according to the posts.
