According to a press release from the Town of Eatonville, the project’s scope includes several key components. The project will kick off with draining the water tower “followed by the onset of construction activities.” The city said the restoration includes “structural enhancements, a fresh coat of paint, and potential upgrades to water pressure and distribution systems.”
To address environmental concerns, a protective barrier will be installed around the construction site to help reduce the spread of dust and debris in the surrounding area, according to a release.
Residents can expect uninterrupted water service throughout the project duration because of the town’s dual pressurizing pumps, which are set to maintain a steady water flow, the city said in a release.
Demetris Pressley, the chief administrative officer of Eatonville, said in a press release the project’s importance, stating, “The completion of this restoration project is a significant step forward in our ongoing commitment to building a resilient and thriving environment for all residents.”
