2 adults, 3 children hospitalized after medical emergency in Pine Hills

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Five people were taken to the hospital after a medical emergency in the Pine Hills neighborhood on Monday, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.

Fire officials said that they were called to the 6400 block of Jackwood Court, where three children and two adults were found.

“A family inside their home were feeling sick, and they were transported to the hospital in stable condition,” a release from the sheriff’s office says.

All five were taken to Advent Health Orlando, though fire officials did not provide specific details about what the emergency entailed.

Fire officials explained that no hazardous materials were found at the scene, and there was no evidence of a “criminal element.”

The fire commander said the case is still under investigation.
