VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Enthusiasts of art and culture are gearing up for the 59th Annual DeLand Outdoor Art Festival which will transform the Earl Brown Park into an outside art gallery this weekend.
The festival, described as the “one sure sign of spring,” will feature a showcase of talent with fine artists from across the Southeast competing for cash prizes and titles, according to organizers. Admission to the event, which will feature over 135 artists and crafters, is free to all.

“We are thrilled to continue our tradition of celebrating creativity and artistic expression at the DeLand Outdoor Art Festival,” festival organizers said in a press release.
Guests can explore a craft section offering a mix of handmade treasures, from jewelry and clothing to artisanal soaps and wooden toys. Last year’s event drew over 6,000 people, according to a release.
Music enthusiasts can delight in the festival’s diverse lineup of live performances, spanning genres like country, folk, bluegrass and blues. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, an array of talented musicians will grace the stage.
Culinary delights will be available for festivalgoers with a selection of treats ranging from Greek salads to barbecue, kettle corn to homemade ice cream.
In addition to the food, attendees can participate in a spectator drawing for a chance to win $100 toward fine art and crafts. Drawings will be held hourly from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at the festival’s information booth.
The division showcases artwork from students throughout West Volusia, providing a platform for young artists to shine.
