MAITLAND, Fla. – Get ready for two days of music and a “diverse lineup” as the Maitland Jazz & Blues Festival swings back into town.
The festival is set for Friday and Saturday.

Besides the music, there will be food and drink vendors you can check out as well as the restaurants nearby, such as Boku Sushi or Sanford Brewing.
"Bring chairs and blankets, and grab a good spot in front of the two stages. The Blues Stage will be located on the north side of Independence Square - a scenic park with a large, grassy area. The Jazz Stage will be on the south side of Independence Lane - a roadway adjacent to the park,” the event’s website reads.
Friday’s event will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. while Saturday will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Here’s who’s performing:
- Friday, April 5
- 6 p.m.: Winter Park H.S. Band
- 7 p.m.: Albert Castiglia
- 8 p.m.: Annika Chambers & Paul DesLauriers Band
- 9 p.m.: Steel ‘n Peaches
- Saturday, April 6
- 2 p.m.: Maitland Stage Band
- 3 p.m.: 8 Ball Aitken
- 4 p.m.: Don Soledad Band
- 5 p.m.: Dayve Stewart Band
- 6 p.m.: High Flying Criminals
- 7 p.m.: The Boneshakers ft. Jenny Langer & Randy Jacobs
- 8 p.m.: Michael Andrew & Swingerhead
- 9 p.m.: Selwyn Birchwood
Michael Andrew & Swingerhead on Saturday night is one of the headlining artists for the festival.
"Andrew was the headline singer and bandleader at the world-famous Rainbow Room atop Rockefeller Center in New York City where he entertained audiences nightly and hosted a live Radio Broadcast, ‘Live from the Rainbow Room.’ He was the band-leader and singer at Merv Griffin’s ‘Coconut Club’ in The Beverly Hilton in California. He has performed in musicals and with symphonies around the country,” event organizers said.
Horatio Avenue, Packwood Avenue and Independence Lane will be closed during the event.
Admission is free but if you plan on parking nearby, it will cost you $10.
