Upon arrival, deputies found a man “bleeding profusely” with a stab wound that appeared to be 3-4 inches long, an incident report states.

The injured man’s girlfriend told investigators that the two of them had been walking south along the road while the suspect was walking in the opposite direction.

However, a “brief altercation ensued,” after which the victim turned around and told his girlfriend he’d been stabbed,” the report reads.

The girlfriend then began chasing the suspect around the nearby Bahama Breeze, though she eventually lost track of the fleeing suspect, deputies said.
