SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – The Seminole County Fire Department set out early Sunday to rescue some stranded boaters in Geneva.
Two adults were rescued without injury from the immobile boat around 1:51 a.m. at Mullet Lake Park, the fire department said on social media.

According to the posts, the boat had gotten stuck on a sand dune 156 yards from the main water channel.
The fire department shared footage from Airboat 42 showing the rescuers’ approach as they shined a light through the fog to find the boaters.

The boat was taped off due to it being in a high-traffic area and was to be removed later in the morning, the posts state.
