Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium has been a fixture in the community ever since it opened in 1951, but Sanford’s rich baseball history spans more than a century.
Countless big names in the world of professional baseball have come through Sanford over the years, including Jackie Robinson, Babe Ruth, Tim Raines and David Eckstein.
