SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. – High schoolers in masks or hoodies have been spotted lurking around local homes as part of a viral social media game, according to the Satellite Beach Police Department.
In a release, police said they’ve received “numerous calls” about these kinds of incidents, which involve high school seniors sneaking around their neighbors’ homes.

During each case, officers learned that the teens were simply playing a game dubbed “Senior Assassin,” the release shows.
However, officers said they’ve have been responding to these 911 calls without knowing whether each case is an actual crime or “students just having fun.”

As a result, the department is urging parents to speak with their children about the risks of playing this game and discourage using “realistic fake guns.”
“We would like to remind the community that the sight (of) firearms, whether real or fake, may instill fear among the public,” the release reads. “’Senior Assassin’ incidents may warrant disorderly conduct charges, depending on the seriousness of the situation.”
