MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A celebrity model was pulled over last week by Surfside police, leading her to claim she was trying to flee from a paparazzo, according to the police department.
Police released body-camera footage of the encounter to News 6, which shows an officer on April 24 pulling over the model, identified as Gisele Bündchen.
In the video, Bündchen — a Brazilian fashion model and the ex-wife of former NFL player Tom Brady — tells the officer that an alleged paparazzo across the street had been following her.
However, the officer responds, “There’s nothing I can do about that.”

Despite that, the officer takes Bündchen’s identification and walks across the street, asking the driver to leave.
Upon returning to Bündchen’s vehicle, the officer tells her that he’s going to let her off without a ticket.
“I was just trying to escape from that guy,” Bündchen says.
“I understand who you are, and I have no doubt. It’s just that there’s nothing I can do about that,” the officer responds.
Instead, the officer suggests Bündchen file a report with Miami Beach police, as that’s where the other driver originally began tailing her, though he does ask whether there’s anything else he can do. But Bündchen then breaks into tears.
“I’m so tired. Everywhere I go, I have these (expletive) guys after me. Nothing protects me,” Bündchen says. “I can do nothing. I just want to live my life.”
“I can’t prevent them from doing their job, which is to take pictures,” the officer states. “Do you need anything else? Can I assist you in anything else?”
She declines, but thanks the officer before the video ends.
According to the Miami Herald, Bündchen bought a home in South Florida following her divorce with Brady.
Forbes has also listed Bündchen as one of the highest-paid supermodels in the world, with an over 20-year career on the runway for popular brands like Victoria’s Secret.
The celebrity model has also launched her own lingerie company, called Gisele Bündchen Intimates.
