TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A toy caused a scare Friday morning at a Brevard County school.
The incident happened around 8 a.m. at Oak Park Elementary School in Titusville.

According to Brevard Public Schools, a student took a toy grenade to school, prompting an alert.
“There was a short shelter in place,” BPS said.
Friday marks the last day of school in Brevard County.
