VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – One person suffered minor injuries after a small plane crashed at the Pierson Municipal Airport on Sunday evening, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the airplane flipped upon landing at the airport on East Washington Avenue, but did not provide a time of the incident.

According to the sheriff’s office, one person sustained minor injuries and a second person was uninjured.
