CASSELBERRY, Fla. – A 37-year-old man faces murder charges after police said he stabbed a woman to death on Wednesday, according to a news release.
Farel Torres was arrested Wednesday in the area of 43 San Jose Circle around 9:07 a.m.

According to the release, a man called 911 saying that he stabbed his girlfriend.

When law enforcement arrived, Torres was standing outside and was placed in custody.
Officials said they found a woman inside the apartment with a stab wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Torres was taken to the Seminole County jail where he faces a charge of second-degree murder.
