TAMPA, Fla. – A 71-year-old Florida woman was arrested on allegations of shooting and killing a man because “he did not clean up after himself,” police said.
Patricia Whitehead was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting, which happened around 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Ybor Heights.

According to Tampa police, officers responded to the shooting and found a man suffering from “upper body trauma.”
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, police said.
Authorities said an investigation showed that Whitehead and the man shared a residential space and she became angry with him, claiming that he did not clean up after himself.
Police said the man was leaving the home when Whitehead heard the door slam. She retrieved a gun from her bedroom and shot the man multiple times, police said.
Whitehead was taken into custody and booked into jail.
No other details have been released.
