LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A woman accused of stealing an ambulance from a children’s hospital led Lee County deputies on a chase, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office posted video on Thursday showing deputies going after the speeding ambulance, with its lights activated, as it swerved and drifted across lanes.
At one point, the ambulance almost flipped before stopping in the middle of the road.
No one else was found inside the ambulance.
The woman, 30-year-old Marchan-Le Quire, was arrested and faces multiple charges, including leaving the scene of a crash.
