Disney’s resort, wildlife preserve welcomes newest member to the savanna

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has a new guest!

Disney announced on its Facebook page last week that it welcomed the new addition on June 13 and that it’s a girl.

The company also reported in the post that the foal and her mother are doing well and “will be out exploring the savanna very soon!”

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a deluxe, themed resort that includes vibrant 43-acre nature preserve that over 30 species of African wildlife call home. The hotel, designed after the traditional African kraal, features a horseshoe-curved shape to provide expansive views of the animals in their environment.
