VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were injured after a small plane crashed near DeLand on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Witnesses reported the plane crash near Molly Avenue around 3 p.m., deputies said.
According to a news release, both occupants of the plane were conscious and alert, but were taken to the hospital.

Deputies said the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified.
