WATCH IT AGAIN: Fireworks at the Fountain launches successfully at Orlando’s Lake Eola

ORLANDO, Fla. – It was time for the night sky above Lake Eola to be illuminated with fireworks, as the city of Orlando’s annual Fireworks at the Fountain Fourth of July event came back again.

The 47th yearly celebration ran from 4-10 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, with the iconic fireworks display beginning around 9:10 p.m. accompanied by a live performance by the Orlando Concert band. The event also consisted of signature live entertainment, family-friendly fun, food and beverages, vendors and more, according to the city’s website.

Anyone unable to make the event in person could watch the event from several viewpoints at Lake Eola on ClickOrlando.com/watchlive and on News6+. The festivities streamed starting at 8 p.m.

Transportation and parking
  • Parking was available in downtown surface lots and garages. Click here for an interactive map of options.
  • Downtown residents and those parking in a location other than the Library Garage on Central Boulevard were encouraged to use the free downtown LYMMO circulator. Click here to view the LYMMO map.

    • Don’t miss the last trains:
      • Church Street Station: the last Northbound train departs at 10:38 p.m., and the last Southbound train departs at 10:51 p.m.
      • LYNX Central Station: the last Northbound last train departs at 10:41 p.m., and the last Southbound train departs at 10:48 p.m.
  • Event attendees were encouraged to use alternative methods of transportation to visit Fireworks at the Fountain, including ride-share services, carpooling, buses and bicycles.
  • To learn about road closures and traffic delays, visit the city’s website for a map of planned changes.
Event rules and regulations
  • You may not stake anything into the ground (umbrellas, tents, etc.)
  • No outside alcohol (coolers containing outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted)
  • No personal fireworks
  • No unauthorized vending or soliciting
  • Chairs and picnic blankets/beach towels are permitted
  • Leashed, well-behaved pets are allowed
