After crews were sent to investigate, they found the spill, though it was determined that it wasn’t hazardous.
While it was cleaned up within 90 minutes, the release doesn’t detail what the liquid actually was.
However, News 6 partner WPLG-TV reports that a spokesperson revealed it was just water that came from an air conditioning system.
According to the spokesperson, the water is dyed green so that leaks like the one on Thursday morning can be traced back to their source.
In addition, officials said the leak had no impact on flights in or out of the airport.
