TAMPA, Fla. – A plane aborted its takeoff on Wednesday from the Tampa International Airport after several of its tires blew out on the runway, according to CNN.
CNN reported that it was an American Airlines flight traveling from Tampa to Phoenix, though video shows the plane coming to a stop on the runway.
The plane caught fire soon after the tires blew out, with smoke billowing from the aircraft.
However, no injuries were reported. Passengers were transported back to the airport following the incident.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
