Swimming closed at Orange County park due to ‘alligator activity’

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The water areas at Kelly Park and Rock Springs have been closed off due to “alligator activity” in the area, according to Orange County officials.

In a release, the county announced that Kelly Park is open, but the swimming areas were closed as of Thursday.

Typically, the park allows for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and tubing, though these activities will be barred while the water areas are closed off.
