BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A U.S. Coast Guard crew responded early Saturday to a distress call after a captain’s vessel flooded and capsized offshore Port Canaveral, helping get the six people who were on board back to dry land.
The responding crew arrived to find that a good Samaritan had helped the group out of the water, U.S. Coast Guard Station Port Canaveral said on social media.
The six distressed people were transferred to the Coast Guard’s 45-foot response boat-medium for transport back to shore, the post states.
Bravo Zulu to the crew for getting all the civilians to safety!
