Man arrives at hospital 8 hours after being shot in Orlando, police say

Investigators believe incident is suspicious in nature

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are working to locate a suspect they say is responsible for shooting a man late Friday who didn’t show up at a hospital until the next morning.

The shooting happened just before midnight in the area of Lake Underhill Road and Yucatan Drive, police said.

From there, police said the victim came to a hospital on Saturday morning, some eight hours later. Investigators view the incident as altogether suspicious in nature, News 6 was told.

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting, according to police.

No other details had been shared or confirmed at the time of this report.
