“The kids were really engaged and they were asking great questions. They learned a lot. I learned a few things and I’ve been riding a bike for a long time,” said Scott Yebba, owner, Sports Tyme Summer Camp. “I think if this helps prevent one of these children from getting hurt and they put into practice what Steve said, it’s well worth while. That’s what I can only hope for.”

Fynn Wheeler, a student at the camp said he learned a lot, especially to always wear a helmet and to lookout for cars.

“Some kids don’t know this and some kids don’t know to look out for cars. They might think cars are looking out for you, but they actually might not be.” Wheeler said.

Since we spent the day talking about bicycle safety during the morning newscast and dealing with the obvious problem we have here in Central Florida when it comes to our crashes, we are going to spread some bicycle safety to the summer camp.
