ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 49-year-old woman was shot and killed early Friday along South Orange Blossom Trail.
The shooting happened before 4 a.m. in the 8200 block of South Orange Blossom Trail.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Jade Monique Thomas, 49, had been found shot and was later taken to the hospital, where she died.
No other information, including what led to the shooting, has been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
