CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – The Cape Canaveral Lighthouse is offering free tours later this month in celebration of International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend.
Those interested can reserve a free tour of the 1868 historical landmark, situated among America’s Premier Space Gateway, on Aug. 17, from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Along with visiting Brevard County’s only lighthouse, they also will have the opportunity to see restored missiles and rockets at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum or listen in as the Kennedy Space Center Amateur Radio Club communicates with lighthouses and radio operators from around the world.
The lighthouse can only be accessed through a tour. Reservations are required at least a week in advance, and space is limited.
