FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – The search for a suspect who allegedly fled from Flagler County deputies drew a large law enforcement presence to Daytona North on Sunday, according to the sheriff’s office.
People were told to avoid the area of Canal Avenue and Ash Street, the sheriff’s office said around 1 p.m. on social media.
By around 2 p.m., the sheriff’s office had updated the post to state there was no longer a law enforcement presence in the area, adding there was no threat to the public.
No other details had been shared or confirmed at the time of this report.
