ORLANDO, Fla. – Ousted Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill wants to be allowed back inside a home owned by a woman she is accused of stealing money from.
Hill, 59, was arrested in March and accused of using the identity of a 96-year-old woman to secure a mortgage to purchase a home on Domino Drive in Orlando.

She was also accused of using the woman’s money to purchase cosmetic surgery, car insurance and trips.
Gov. Ron DeSantis removed Hill from office on April 1, prompting a special election to replace her.
“Shan” Rose won her seat.
News 6 has also learned Hill was under federal investigation for using the woman’s identity for the mortgage application.
According to new court documents in the guardianship case against her, Hill is asking a judge to allow her inside a home on Lewis Court to retrieve her belongings.
She had been living in the home, which was also owned by the woman she is accused of stealing from, according to court documents.
“Specifically, (Hill’s) personal items are still being held on the premises in the sole control of Petitioner and there is extreme concern that much of the Respondent’s personal property has been destroyed,” the petition read.
A hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 3 to hear the matter.
