ORLANDO, Fla. – A child was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in a pool at an Orlando home on Tuesday evening, police said.
Orlando police said they responded to the area of South Alder Avenue and Kearce Street around 8 p.m. in reference to the unresponsive child.

According to a news release, the child was transported to the hospital where thy were pronounced dead.

No other information was released.
Police said the investigation is active and ongoing.
