Firefighters put out burning RV near Ocala (Marion County Fire Rescue)

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Marion County Fire Rescue reported no injuries following firefighters’ quick response to a burning RV near Ocala on Sunday.

Crews responded around 8:30 a.m. to the 5200 block of SE 26th Avenue, where a 911 caller had reported the flames were spreading fast, the fire department said on social media.

The RV was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, the post states. Crews deployed a hose and made an aggressive attack on the flames, getting the fire under control by 9:01 a.m., according to the fire department.

The cause and origin of the fire are still being investigated, the post states.
