ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people face charges related to a June shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened June 18 around 2 a.m. on Pershing Avenue near Goldenrod Road.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said a 19-year-old man, identified as Angel Issak Martinez, and a woman in her 20s were found shot and then taken to the hospital, where the man was pronounced dead. The woman had non-life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.

On Saturday, the sheriff’s office said that 21-year-old Amarion Rashaun Hammons and 22-year-old Jabez Actie were arrested in connection to the shooting.
Deputies said they face charges of first-degree murder with a firearm, attempted first degree murder with a firearm, and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
According to a news release, they were both additionally charged with trafficking in fentanyl.
