TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A Seminole County man won a $1 million prize playing Florida Lottery’s “the Price is Right” scratch-off game.
Jason Henderson, of Chuluota, claimed his winnings Thursday at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He claimed his winnings as a one time lump-sum payment of $640,000, according to a news release.

Henderson purchased his ticket for $5 from a MJM Food Store at 670 South County Road 419 in Chuluota, earning the store a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket, the release states.
“The Price is Right” is a scratch-off game which offers players eight top prizes of $1 million — with only two remaining — and a 1-in-2.86 chance of winning, according to the Florida Lottery website. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-4, the website states.

In 2023-24, scratch-off games accounted for approximately 74% of ticket sales, according to Florida Lottery.
