BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX launched one of its Falcon 9 rockets from Florida’s Space Coast early Thursday morning.
The launch sent five communications satellites — dubbed “BlueBirds” — for AST SpaceMobile into orbit from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The four-hour launch window opened at 4:52 a.m.
The 45th Weather Squadron forecast a 70% chance of weather interfering with the launch.
