FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A 62-year-old man faces DUI charges after deputies in Flagler County said he was operating heavy machinery while under the influence.
Deputies said they responded to a scrap yard in Bunnell to reports of a verbal altercation and threats made by a man operating heavy machinery.
According to a social media post by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, deputies observed John Kastner operating an excavator “while his normal faculties were impaired.”

Kastner was placed under arrest for DUI, deputies said.
No other information was released.
