ORLANDO, Fla. – A person was found dead Tuesday morning inside an apartment in Orlando, police said.
The discovery was made around 5:35 a.m. in the 5900 block of Peregrine Avenue, southwest of Florida’s Turnpike and South Kirkman Road.

Orlando police said officers were called to the area in reference to a fire, but a fire was not discovered. Officers entered an apartment unit and found a body, described only as an adult.
No other details have been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
