OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 15-year-old girl who ran away from home and has been missing for more than a month.

Rosie Savetha Cristo has been missing since Sept. 17 after last being seen in the 1600 block of Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday in a news release.

Cristo left home early that morning after an argument with her parents, the release states, adding she was last seen around 1:45 a.m. that day on a doorbell camera and was reported missing at 10:22 p.m.

Cristo is around 5 feet, 1 inch tall and 140 pounds with brown eyes, shoulder-length hair with purple tips, and a piercing on the left side of her nose, according to the release. She was wearing a gray shirt with blue stripes on its sleeves and was carrying a blue backpack when she was last seen, the release states.

According to detectives, Cristo has never run away before and does not suffer from any medical conditions, nor does she take any medication.

Detectives want to know if anyone “saw anything unusual in the area of O’Berry Road, off Pleasant Hill Road, on the night of September 17,” the release states.

Anyone who sees Cristo or has knowledge of her whereabouts is urged to contact the sheriff’s office, or Crimeline at 800-423-8477 to remain anonymous.
