1 dead after trailer fire in Orange County

Crews respond to 800 block of Indigo Avenue

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A person was found dead inside of a double-wide trailer that caught fire Thursday in Orange County, according to the fire department.

Crews responded around 12:56 p.m. to the 800 block of Indigo Avenue, where Orange County Fire Rescue said a 911 caller had reported heavy fire coming from the trailer.

Firefighters were able to get a good, quick knockdown on the fire, but a deceased victim was soon found inside of the structure, the fire department said in a statement.

The State Fire Marshal has been notified and will investigate how the fire started, the statement reads.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene, according to the fire department.
