14-year-old boys shot, wounded at Huntington on the Green condos in Orange County

Investigators believe shooting was not random

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two 14-year-old boys were hospitalized Wednesday, one of them with life-threatening injuries, after being shot at an Orange County condo complex, deputies said.

The shooting was reported around 8:15 p.m. at the Huntington on the Green condos on Huntington Green Court.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the complex and found one of the boys suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

Later, the second boy showed up at a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators believe both of the boys were shot in the same incident, and that the shooting was not a random act of violence.

Deputies have not said if they’re searching for a suspect or what led to the shooting.
