VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – After canceling classes during Hurricane Milton earlier this month, Volusia County Schools have announced the district’s makeup days.
In a release, district officials said the following early-release days will now be extended into regular school days:

“The remainder of the instructional time lost due to Milton, as well as the one day lost due to Hurricane Helene, will be absorbed into the current schedule,” the release reads.
