Fire smokes up shopping center in Casselberry

Crews respond to 500 State Road 436

CASSELBERRY, Fla. – No injuries were reported after a fire broke out Wednesday evening in the second-story office space of a commercial plaza in Casselberry, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.

Crews responded around 5:17 p.m. to 500 State Road 436, the fire department said on social media.

Firefighters made a fast attack of the blaze, containing it to a 500-square-foot space and reporting other commercial properties in the plaza were still habitable afterwards, the post states.

The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of this writing.
